Description
A new and special career pathways program for ESL learners, immigrants and refugees!
Train to receive a Child Development Associate (Preschool) certificate. You will receive extra academic support, credential exam preparation, and job search assistance.
Program starts January 4, 2027 through December 11, 2027 - 12 months
5 hours of online ESL instruction held weekly on Tuesday and Thursdays, 6:30-9:00pm
In addition, part time training during the week, 6 hours per week of online and in person Child Development Associate (CDA) held two Saturdays per month.
Students must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must obtain 480 hours of experience in a preschool or an in-home program.
Intermediate English readng, writing and speaking skills are required for this program - all applicants must take an English proficiency test.
