Description

Winter 2024: January 8 to March 23 Spring 2024: April 1 to June 15 ESL classes at Gresham campus are in person and online. Cost is $60 for class levels A,B,C for 12 hour per week; $30-$60 for class levels D and E, depending upon number of hours per week (3 to 12). Classes are 10 or 11 weeks. There are fee waivers available for low income. ESL Classes are beginner to advanced in reading, writing and communication. There is an assessment test to determine your ESL class level. Call 503-491-7333 (English speaking) or 503-491-7675 (Spanish speaking) to sign up for the assessment test. ESL class are morning or evening. Go to mhcc.edu/AboutESL ABE/GED classes are online and in person. Classes in Language Arts or in Math. Both are two times per week for 8 hours total. Cost is $30 per class. There are fee waivers if you are low income. Go to mhcc.edu/AboutABE_GED to see more details. In person classes are from 9:00 to 12:50 Monday to Thursday and Evening 5:45 to 9:35pm. Online are by Zoom with independent study and meeting on zoom 1-2 times per week. There are GED classes in Spanish in person on Monday through Thursday from 6:00-9:00 and Saturdays 9:00 - 1:00.
