Description
Multi-level ESL classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Childcare is provided through age 5, and transportation help is available depending on location and available personnel.
Classes run from September through early June and roughly follow the Beaverton School District schedule. New students may join at any time.
There is a $40 charge which covers books and fees, after which classes are free.
We offer something for all levels, from pre-literate to advanced. From learning the alphabet and survival English, to working on fluency and understanding American colloquial speech, our classes have been formulated to fit your needs. Additionally, each class begins with a half hour concentration on conversational English.
Students meet in small groups with a tutor from 9:30 to 10 to practice conversation and oral expression, before separating into their classrooms at 10 for a time to focus on the four main aspects of language learning: reading, writing, listening and conversation.
