Description:
Winter 2021 classes online for ESL and GED start January 4, 2021. No Citizenship classes for Winter 2021; if you are interested in Citizenship class contact SOAR at www.omoregonorg or 503-384-2482. All ESL classes online; classes available for reading, writing, grammar, conversation at beginning, intermediate and upper levels; classes are Monday through Friday morning and evening sessions. GED classes are hybrid classes meaning both online and some in person. Classes are day and evening. There are some classes in Spanish. Type of Assignment: classroom aide/assistant
Time Slots Needed: Times are variable and depend on assignments. Classes are between 9:00 AM and 9:00PM, usually Monday through Thursday.
Time Commitment Requested: We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of 90 minutes a week and we ask that they complete the term they start in. Assignments would be for online classroom assistants or 1:1 tutoring.
